WanderTales is a subscription service that sends your pet on a global adventure — in postcard form. Each week, we create a photorealistic AI image of your pet at a new destination, write a funny message in their voice, print it on a real postcard, and mail it to your door. $8.99/month, four postcards a month, a new destination every week.

Yes — completely real. We print on premium postcard stock, address them, stamp them, and physically mail them to you. Not a digital download, not an email attachment. An actual postcard that arrives in your actual mailbox. Most subscribers frame them.

You upload a clear photo of your pet, and our AI studies their specific features — their fur, markings, face shape, and personality. We then composite them photorealistically into the destination scene. It's not a cartoon or sticker — it looks like your pet was actually there.

We generate a personalised message in your pet's first-person voice, based on their name, species, and personality traits you share during sign-up. The messages are intentionally funny, opinionated, and slightly chaotic — because that's more interesting than "Having a great time, wish you were here."

Destinations rotate weekly from our global collection — Paris, Bali, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Santorini, New York, the Swiss Alps, and dozens more. We're continuously adding new destinations, so your pet's passport never gets boring.

Yes — we email you a digital preview before each card ships so you know exactly what's on its way. If there's ever an issue with the image, just reach out and we'll sort it.

One clear photo where your pet's face is visible — any phone camera works fine. Good lighting helps, but it doesn't need to be professional. The more character in the photo, the better the final postcard. Avoid photos where the pet is mostly hidden, in shadow, or too far away.

Any pet with a face. Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles — we've even sent a tortoise to the Galápagos. If it has a face and a personality, it has a tale. Truly species-neutral.

After subscribing and submitting your pet's photo, your first postcard is typically produced and mailed within 5–7 business days. Delivery time depends on your location — most subscribers receive their first card within 1–2 weeks of signing up.

Yes — your subscription covers your household's pets. You can rotate which pet features on each postcard, or we can alternate between them. Just let us know your preferences during sign-up or via a message to our team.

$8.99/month. That includes four real printed postcards per month — one per week, each at a new destination — plus digital previews and the mystery gift after your first month. No setup fee, no hidden costs.

After your first month of postcards, you receive a mystery gift in the mail. We can't say what it is — that's the point. Everyone who's received it has loved it. You'll see.

Yes — cancel anytime from your account dashboard with one click. No phone calls, no guilt trips, no cancellation fees. If you cancel, your subscription continues until the end of your current billing period.

Yes. If you're going on holiday yourself, moving, or just need a break, you can pause your subscription for up to 3 months. Your pet's adventures will resume exactly where they left off when you're ready.

Currently we ship to Canada and the United States. International shipping is on our roadmap — if you're outside these regions, send us a message and we'll add you to the waitlist for when we expand.

Absolutely — it makes an incredible gift for any pet owner. Gift subscriptions can be purchased and sent to a friend or family member. The postcards arrive at their address, in their pet's voice. Contact us to set up a gift subscription.

Postcards occasionally get delayed in the mail. If yours hasn't arrived within 2 weeks of the expected date, contact us and we'll investigate and resend at no charge. We keep records of every card we dispatch.

Yes. If the image quality isn't right — or your pet is barely recognisable — reach out to us before the card ships (you'll get a preview email). We'll regenerate it. Our goal is a postcard you actually want to frame, not just tolerate.

Destination requests aren't available in the standard subscription right now, but it's something we're actively working on. If you have a specific destination in mind — your pet's dream holiday, perhaps — let us know and we'll do our best.

Your pet's photo is used solely to generate their postcard images. We never sell it, share it publicly, or use it for advertising without your explicit permission. You can request deletion of your photo data at any time by contacting us.

Never without your permission. We only share subscriber postcards on social media if you've explicitly opted in or tagged us yourself. Your pet's adventures are yours — we'd never use them without asking first.
